Recess requires each course offering (or cohort) to be set to a specific timezone. This ensures automatic adjustments for time-related changes, like Daylight Savings Time (DST). Therefore, cohort timezone should be set to match the timezone of the primary instructor of the offering. Example:<ul> <li> Your cohort is scheduled for 12:00 PM on Wednesdays, in the America/New_York timezone (U.S. Eastern Time). </li> <li> U.S. Eastern Time observes DST from March 10, 2024, to November 3, 2024. Your subsequent charge occurs on the second Sunday after your signup, ensuring your payment aligns with the week's classes starting from that Monday. </li> </ul><h2 id="h_2e35b7a815">Refund Policy</h2><h2 id="h_2c7009e82d">Subscription Cancellation</h2><ul> <li> For Weekly and Monthly Plans: Canceling your subscription will end it at the close of the current billing period, with your child retaining access to events until then. </li> </ul><h2 id="h_665dbf0ca4">Partial Refunds for Missed Classes</h2><ul> <li> If your child is unable to attend an event and you prefer not to lose your spot in the class, we offer a 50% refund for the missed class in the form of a credit towards future class purchases. Notification must be provided at least 48 hours in advance of the absence. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the missed class. </li> </ul><h2 id="h_7d134574ff">Prepaid Events Cancellation</h2><ul> <li> Full refunds are available for cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance for both one-time events and limited run series. </li> </ul><h2 id="h_0eb8b773b4">Instructor-Related Refunds</h2><ul> <li> Full refunds are issued for classes canceled by instructors before the first meeting. If an instructor misses a one-time class, parents may opt for a full refund or to have the class rescheduled. Community Code of Conduct

<h1 id="6r46q3a2qkm" data-toc-id="6r46q3a2qkm">Who is eligible to be a referee/invitee?</h1>Any family new to Recess is eligible to receive a referral bonus by using an eligible referral link or code. Existing users are not eligible to be referees/invitees.Referrers may not create duplicate accounts or refer themselves in order to receive a referral or referree bonus in the form of Recess credits. In its sole discretion, Recess may refuse to grant a referral bonus to any referee/invitee or referrer who violates these terms or any other terms of service.Recess reserves the right to set limits on the number of referral bonuses that may be earned.<h1 id="l01x5pq8rii" data-toc-id="l01x5pq8rii">How do I earn my bonus as a referrer/inviter?</h1>To earn a referral bonus, you must share your unique referral link or code with a new family.
