Disable Push Notifications

This is an early access feature available to a selected cohort users only. We’re still in early stages of building push notifications, and functions might change!

To disable web push notifications from Recess, follow the instructions for your specific browser below.

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Navigate to Privacy and security > Site Settings > Notifications.

  3. Under the “Allowed to send notifications” section, locate recess.gg.

  4. Click the three dots next to recess.gg and select Remove.

  1. Click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Go to Privacy & Security and scroll to the Permissions section.

  3. Next to Notifications, click Settings.

  4. Find recess.gg in the list, select it, and click Remove Website.

  1. Click Safari in the top menu and select Preferences.

  2. Go to the Websites tab and click Notifications in the sidebar.

  3. Locate recess.gg in the list.

  4. Use the drop-down menu next to it to select Deny.

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. In the search bar, type Recess and select the Recess app from the result.

  3. Tap Notifications.

  4. Toggle the Allow Notifications switch to Off.
