We want you to experience Recess before you commit. Your 10-day free trial gives you full access to everything Recess has to offer—live classes, community features, challenges, and personal concierge support. Here's exactly how it works.

What You Get During Your Trial

Your trial isn't a limited preview—it's the full Recess experience. For 10 days, you and your child get:

• $100 in class credits to try live classes taught by our expert guides

• Full community access — Community Hour, chat channels, and the entire challenges library

• Personal concierge support — Your dedicated concierge is available to answer questions and help you find the perfect classes

This is your chance to see if Recess is the right fit for your family. We encourage you to try a class, explore the community, and let your child make some connections.

When Does Billing Start?

Here's the important part: your card is NOT charged when you sign up.

Billing only begins after your 10-day trial ends. During signup, you'll see the exact date of your first charge so there are no surprises. We'll also send you a reminder email before your trial ends.

If Recess isn't right for you, simply cancel before your trial period ends and you won't be charged.

What Happens to Unused Trial Credits?

Good news: your trial credits don't disappear. If you don't use all $100 during your trial:

• Credits convert to regular credits when your membership begins

• They roll over into your first month as a member

• Use them on future classes — credits are good until they roll off (we allow up to $200 balance)

So feel free to use what you need during the trial, knowing that nothing goes to waste.

Can I Cancel During the Trial?

Absolutely. You can cancel anytime before your trial ends, and you won't be charged.

To cancel:

1. Go to Settings

2. Click Billing

3. Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription

If you cancel, your access continues until the trial period ends. We hope you'll stick around, but we understand if Recess isn't the right fit.

What If I Need More Time?

We get it—life gets busy, and 10 days might not be enough to really experience Recess. If you need a little more time to decide, just reach out to your concierge. We're happy to work with you.

After Your Trial

Once your trial ends, your membership officially begins:

• $99/month is charged to your card on file

• You receive $100 in fresh credits each month

• Community access continues — Community Hour, channels, and challenges are always included

• Any unused trial credits carry forward into your membership

Everything stays seamless. Your child's progress, connections, and enrolled classes all continue without interruption.
